EP2 "Without Violence & of all Colours"
We have released a song written during our last year workshops "Songwriting for Recovery". It's a track based on a real story of domestic abuse survival Tracy Graham called "Better Without You". She also performed it and co-wrote it, supported by our founder Luiza Moir. This whole experience brought back much of happiness and relief into her life. The release also connected with many other women going through similar issues, bringing hope, understanding within music, being the effective process to recover from abusive relationship.

This track is one of five songs we have created during SLW free therapeutic music workshops with five different ladies, domestic abuse survivors. To raise awareness about violence against women, to make a strong impact on the public, and to empower the most vulnerable we released all these five songs on the EP2 called "Without Violence & of all Colours" in November 2022.

Just to let you know – In 2019, we released EP1 "Without Violence & of all Colours" with five songs inspired by real stories of domestic abuse victims, performed by international female artists who gave a voice to those who didn’t have an opportunity to speak.

Better With Music Cafe
10 months, 10 venues, 10 different Swindon communities in needwith the support of National Lottery Fund Sounds Like Women prepared 10 Community Café events, in a safe environment, with live music, and an open community- therapeutic music workshops.
All in very warm atmosphere of an actual café, run by a bunch of good friends, musicians, music lovers, and music therapists. Through our newest initiative, we have created the safe place for a community, where we empower through music and raise awareness about pressing issues. We also speak about locally available support and provide the place to meet, to be listened and to connect, or simply to relax and have fun. The café is always full of live music, with refreshments and homemade food, top-table sale with second hand goods, as well we provide community music workshops run by music therapists during the event, open mic and activity for all community.
Music workshops for women, girls and families
Maybe you lost your confidence, feeling low, powerless, you need to find yourself, your voice or you are in destructive relationship? We organise inspirational music workshops for women, girls and families, singing with songwriting for recovery and self-empowerment, playing different instruments, building healthy relationships with yourself and others.

We invite everyone to come along for live music, refreshments including lovely teas, coffee, delicious homemade cakes and soup, as well as craft products homemade by women.
